During his tenure as a law student, Mr. Peraza achieved notable distinctions, including the prestigious CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Bankruptcy Practice & Externship (A CALI Excellence for the Future Award is given to the “top” scoring student in a given law school subject). 

In addition to his CALI Awards, Mr. Peraza gained recognition on the Dean’s List for the Spring Semester of 2018, a testament to his outstanding academic performance during that period. His commitment to legal excellence was further demonstrated through a coveted internship with the United States Department of Justice, specifically within the U.S. Trustee Program, Region 21, in Miami, Florida. The U.S. Trustee Program, as part of the Department of Justice, is entrusted with overseeing the administration of bankruptcy cases and private trustees.

Mr. Peraza holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations and Political Science, with a Certificate in European Studies, from Florida International University (FIU). His academic focus at FIU centered on European independence movements, with in-depth studies on movements such as Catalan and Scottish independence. During his undergraduate years, Mr. Peraza earned a place on the Dean’s List for both the Spring and Fall Semesters of 2014.

Before establishing Peraza Law, Mr. Peraza served as an associate attorney for a national collections litigation law firm representing Fortune 500 companies and small-to-mid-size businesses in collection actions throughout Florida. He also contributed his legal expertise to Florida’s largest consumer bankruptcy law firm, where he represented individuals in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Peraza’s professional background underscores his comprehensive experience and commitment to providing top-tier legal services.
